I teach a wide variety of riders with varying degrees of experience, but what they all share is a love of the horse and riding and have provided the testimonials below.

With special thanks to those of you here and those that I could not fit on!

I have know Gail for a number of years and really admire her hard working attitude and determination.
Not only is she competitive in her own riding, she manages to encourage her pupils to be the best they can be. I have never come away from a lesson without a real buzz and at least one light bulb moment.

Having had a youngster with issues who I admit I was nervous of riding, Gail not only schooled him for me when I was ill, but within weeks of me having lessons with her had us happy cantering around and jumping!
I have recommended Gail to my friends and all have come away with new tools to work with and much more confidence whilst having fun at the same time.
Thank you x

Gail has been teaching my 11 year old son to ride for much of the last year. During that time, she has managed to enhance his natural ability and boost his confidence.

Improvements are visually noticeable, in terms of posture and control. And best of all, his big smiles during her lessons.

Gail is committed to improving her student's riding abilities, for example, asking what they want from a lesson, then reviewing performance at the end; but she does this in such a friendly and enthusiastic way that the students have lots of fun too.

Each of the students in the group gets individual attention to focus on areas of improvement.

Gail is also very safety-conscious, if one of the students falls off, she is very careful to assess their condition and ensures they are not rushed, before encouraging them back on.

Highly recommended.

I have been riding for around 5 years and have had four different instructors, but for me Gail has been one of the best!

She has a wide knowledge of horses and if you feel like your struggling with something, I can almost guarantee Gail will know numerous techniques for you to get the best from your horse. I'm constantly learning new things from her.

Gail's teaching helps you think for yourself, you're not just being told what to do. With her, you're able to build a feeling for the horse so whatever horse you're on, whether you've ridden it before or not, you can pick up on it's weaknesses and strengths so you know what to work on.

Gail is a friendly, upbeat person and any questions you have she is more than happy to answer.

I would recommend Gail to anyone.

Gail's coaching is effective, understanding and patient with a good background in training nervous, novice and young riders. Her love of teaching is evident and having trained with her, I can highly recommend her dedicated and structured approach.

Gail has been teaching my 6year old daughter for several months now and has been amazing with her.
She has helped with her confidence after it had taken several bad knocks.
Gail makes every lesson fun and always leaves my daughter feeling very pleased and proud of what she has achieved.

An amazing instructor with a great fun attitude and an ability to bond with the children.

I have had riding lessons with Gail for about two years now and have found her to be an excellent instructor.

Her lessons are so enjoyable, clear and uncomplicated.

Gail's knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for harmony and a very happy partnership between horse and rider shine through.

It is wonderful to experience the horse in self carriage, calm and happy.

Gail has taught me so much for which I shall always be grateful.

Gail has been teaching my daughter to ride for the last three months. I made the decision when my daughter wanted to start riding lessons that we would trial a few of the local riding schools - this was not to be the case! Savannah had her first lesson with Gail and instantly felt safe, understood and happy, as a mother I could ask no more. As the weeks progressed little did I know how much Gail would give Savannah.

Gail has worked very hard on building Savannahs confidence, which in turn has helped her to relax and find a better seat, this has included work on her balance, position and coordination whilst all the time giving her clear reasoning on why they were doing what they were doing and what they are trying to achieve, not only within herself but what her actions mean to the horse and how they interpret it. Gail's knowledge of the horse is outstanding and her attention to detail when answering questions is amazing.

I would highly recommend Gail, she is extremely giving, caring and understanding to individual needs and is motivated to gain the best results by being firm but fair and always fun!

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information, Savannah would also be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Gail has taught both of my children for about 18 months.

When teaching a group, she is able to give every pupil individual attention whilst maintaining the flow of the lesson for the entire group. At the end of a lesson Gail will ask each pupil what they had done well that day and if, for example, the horse had been misbehaving and the pupil is feeling a little disheartened she will tell them how well they handled the horse making the pupil feel positive and confident.

Gail has a gift for explaining concepts in a way that makes it easy for the pupils to understand and to make it fun. One morning Gail was teaching tempo transitions within a gait by playing music and asking the riders to ride to the beat of the music.

Gail has been very good for my son who was a very nervous rider when she started teaching him. He does still lack confidence, however most of the time he is happy to ride the more forward going ponies in all 3 gaits, including our own horse, who is still young and green.

My daughter has blossomed under Gail’s tutelage and improved more in her first few weeks with Gail than she had done in the preceding months with her previous instructor.

Gail is always conscious of the welfare of the horses in her care and if there were any questions over the soundness of a horses in lesson then they would be removed from the lessons whilst they were assessed. She handles the horses with kindness and respect and when the horses are being a little difficult her horsemanship shines.

We have our own horse who is kept at the same yard where Gail was an instructor and if I ever had a query regarding my horse she was always happy to provide information and assistance.

I have no hesitation in having her teach me or my children or to care for my horse.

Gail has been teaching me to ride at a riding school in Northamptonshire for the past year.

She consistently offers 100% to her role and is enthusiastic, patient and encouraging, ensuring her clients are able to expand their riding abilities in order to reach their full potential.

She is popular with both clients and colleagues at the stables and her knowledge and skill of horses is outstanding!

Gail has taught me to ride sympathetically and always strives to make sure the horse I am riding is suited to my needs and ability.
